A Little About DELTA
DELTA is a system appealing to both online advertising agencies and sales points as it attacks issues of advertising management from both angles providing a full audit trail of all transactions and bookings allowing a much smaller team to manage online advertising booking and sales.

Doing away with the teams of graduates many agencies seem to pay to stand by fax machines – as mentioned by a few of the panelists speaking at the launch.

DELTA was introduced as a project at Mediatel Group after their successful J-ET radio advertising booking system which has been the industry standard for a number of years. Much of the experience that made J-ET a success has been lent to the DELTA project ensuring it meets the specifications of advertising agencies and salespoints.

On a personal note
I have had the pleasure of working on the DELTA team over at Mediatel over the last 6 months as a contract web developer. Not only has it been a fantastic experience working with everyone at Mediatel, the DELTA team especially, I have learned more about developing strong and scalable web applications than ever before and I highly recommend to anyone who finds the chance.

As you can see from some of the links in the references below a company with a lot of talent and plenty to contribute (see fabulol and uncontrollalol – spinoffs for society from the DELTA team, much like NASA contributed the ballpoint pen I like to think).
